Improvements to the Dr. Margaret Arkinstall Spray Pad

The Town of Newmarket is conducting important repairs to the Dr. Margaret Arkinstall Spray Pad with an expected reopening date of July 2025.

Work on the spray pad includes:

• Re-installation of a new rubber surface
• Repair and maintenance to the water features

Updates on the progress of construction will be provided on this website.

We recognize the community’s enthusiasm for reopening the splash pad and are committed to finishing the work within existing budgets, ensuring the facility is safe, functional, and ready for residents to enjoy as soon as possible.

Residents and community members are encouraged to visit other water play areas in Town at Rogers Park, Frank Stronach Park and Newmarket's Riverwalk Commons.
