Frank Hollingsworth Park Project

The Town of Newmarket is looking to redevelop the old Hollingsworth arena site into a new park.

The proposed concept intends to include the following park features:

• Playground
• Spray pad
• Ball hockey rink (Summer)
• Recreational chilled ice rink (Winter)
• Open grass area
• Hard surface walkways and connections
• Gathering/seating area(s)
• Benches
• Picnic tables with umbrellas
• Waste receptacle(s)
• Landscaping
• Lighting

Public Consultation Centre (PCC): Hollingsworth Park Project

Thank you to everyone who attended the Public Consultation Centre (PCC) on June 11 to learn more about the Hollingsworth Park Project.

At this meeting, community members go to view the initial design concept, see the proposed design features, provide their feedback and speak to staff and the Town's consultant, Landscape Planning Limited.
