About the Project
As part of the enhancement to our walkways and increased safety in Newmarket, the walkway between Meegan Court and McCaffrey Road will have lights installed. This project is expected to start during the week of October 23 and be completed by the end of November 2023 (weather dependent). Please see below for a map of the work area.
The Town of Newmarket’s contractor (Montgomery Industrial Services) will be undertaking this work.
To facilitate and maintain safe working conditions for our contractors and consultants, a small area of Meegan Court near the walkway will be used for material staging. We kindly request that you do not park your vehicles near the walkway during this time frame.
All areas will be restored to their original state once the work is completed. We would like to thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to improve your neighborhood.
