Official Plan Review Draft Policy Directions - Council Workshops

At the September 11 and September 18, 2023 Council Meetings, the consultant team and Town staff presented findings from the Official Plan engagement process and draft policy directions to Newmarket Council. The workshop focused on the Official Plan Review areas of concentration and the follow three key points:

1. Preliminary policy direction to Council and facilitated discussion around "big moves" proposed for the updated official plan.

2. Receive input on preliminary policy directions and "big moves" to inform the draft policy direction report.

3 . Answered questions from Council regarding the Official Plan Review and preliminary policy direction.
