Council Workshop: Policy Planning on Employment, Growth, Transportation and Servicing

At the September 11 Council Meeting, Newmarket Council was presented with findings from the Official Plan engagement process so far. The workshop focused on five areas of concentration and the follow three key points:

1. Preliminary policy direction to Council and facilitated discussion around "big moves" proposed for the updated official plan.

2. Receive input on preliminary policy directions and "big moves" to inform the draft policy direction report.

3 . Answered questions from Council regarding the Official Plan Review and preliminary policy direction.
