Paul Semple Park Parking Lot Construction

The Town of Newmarket will be repaving the Paul Semple Park parking lot, and installing drainage improvements to prevent flooding in the area during inclement weather.

Construction timeline

• July to August 2026

Disruption and closures

• The Paul Semple Parking lot will be closed to public access for the duration of the construction work.
• The sidewalk and path to enter Paul Semple Park will remain open.
