The Town of Newmarket has identified opportunities in spring of 2023 to provide playground structure and park improvements at various parks around Town and we are looking for your feedback.

Thank you to all community members who took time to provide their feedback at our Public Information Centre in the spring. All the playgrounds listed below have been completed and are open to the public to enjoy.

As part of the Town’s commitment to provide our residents with beautiful, enjoyable, and safe parklands, we hope everyone has an opportunity to experience the new and accessible playground features this summer and beyond.

  • Arnhem Park (Rourke Place / Bondi Avenue)
    • New 911 park address signs to be installed
    • New playground structure to be installed
    • Playground surfacing to be changed to engineered wood fibre for accessibility needs

  • Frank Williams Park (Poppy Lane / Wilbur Phipher Circle)
    • New playground structures to be installed
    • New swing set to be installed
    • Playground surfacing to be changed to engineered wood fibre for accessibility needs
    • Repair to interlocking
    • New Picnic table Pad by Shade cover

  • John Georgas Park (Allan Ave. / Perrin Ave.)
    • New 911 address signs to be installed
    • New playground structure to be installed
