Walkway Improvements: Broughton/Lockwood and Nelson/Shanahan

The Town of Newmarket will be undertaking improvements to two walkways located at:

• Broughton Lane and Lockwood Circle
• Nelson Circle and Shanahan Boulevard.

Construction is anticipated to start in 2026 with the design phase starting near the end of 2025.

Walkway Improvements

• Fixing leaning retaining walls
• Improvements to staircases (if present)
• Lighting improvements for better visibility and safety

Prior to the start of construction, we are looking for general feedback on what can be improved along these walkways.
