Approval of Fees and Charges at the Committee of the Whole Meeting
Town of Newmarket Council will review the 2020 Fees and Charges at this meeting.
Outcome:
Newmarket Council approved licensing fee increases that range from 1.7% to 2.5%, or no increase. None of the proposed fees exceed a 2.5% increase. Fees will be in effect on January 1, 2020.
Two new fees are being introduced in 2020 under the Driving School Instructor Category for Replacement Plate ($85) and Vehicle transfer ($182).
