Neighbour Update – Local traffic detour in May

Starting on May 12 traffic on Jordanray Boulevard, Menczel Crescent, Osler Court, and Fadine Road will be limited to local traffic only during weekdays (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Residents are encouraged to use Clearmeadow Boulevard and Doubletree Lane as an alternative during this time.

This temporary detour is necessary to provide a safe space for the water service to be connected to Mulock Park. The contractor will be excavating a trench and installing approximately 15 m (50 feet) of buried piping crossing from the existing watermain on the north side of Jordanray Blvd into the park.

Timing: Construction work is expected to start Monday, May 12, 2025 and will take approximately one to two weeks to complete. Work will be conducted Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

All homes in the ‘Local traffic only’ zone will continue to have access to their residence by vehicle and sidewalk. On-street parking will not be permitted on Jordanray Blvd between the ends of Menczel during the work period.

No interruption to water service is expected.

Waste pick up will continue as usual and school bus services will be coordinated.

One of the sidewalks on Jordanray Boulevard will be open at all times.

We kindly ask that travellers respect the work area which will be signed to direct traffic to alternative routes.
