Neighbour Update – Temporary sidewalk closure on Jordanray Blvd. (November 24)
Work is expected to start the week of November 24 to connect electrical service to the Yonge Street Parking lot within the hydro corridor. The work will take approximately 1-2 days to complete and will involve minimal disruption with a temporary sidewalk closure on Jordanray Blvd. near the homes closest to the site. One sidewalk will be maintained at all times and there is no impact to traffic and residential access.
What’s happening?
Contractors are excavating a small pit and installing approximately 40 metres of buried conduit to connect the transformer to the parking lot within the hydro corridor.
The transformer is located in front of 30 and 34 Jordanray Boulevard. The conduit will be installed by directional drilling, meaning that the only excavation will be in the grass boulevard and sidewalk at the transformer (Town land).
We appreciate the neighbours’ patience and understanding while we continue to create the park.
