The Town of Newmarket is considering
revisions to how it protects and grows its Urban Forest.
A key aspect of the planning process is
engaging with community members and stakeholders to understand the urban forest
today and to develop ways to ensure its health and protect the benefits that
trees bring to our community. This survey is one way that the Town is seeking
resident input.
The survey information received will be
used to help develop a direction for future protection of trees and natural areas
within the Town. The results of this survey will be made available when staff
report to members of Council on findings.
Thank you for taking the time to participate
in this survey and help shape our community!
