We want to hear from you! The Town of Newmarket is reviewing its waste collection services and exploring options for its next waste collection contract. Your input is valuable in helping us understand our current program, what is working well and where improvements can be made to shape the future of waste and organics collection.
Meeting Details Date: Wednesday, October 1, 2025 Time: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Drop-in) Location: Newmarket Community Centre & Lion’s Hall (Hall 1) (200 Doug Duncan Drive)
Join us at an in-person Public Meeting to:
Share your experience with current waste collection services.
Provide feedback on a possible automated cart collection for organics and garbage (standardized bins that allows waste collectors to collect bins automatically by the truck as opposed to manually by a staff member)
Offer general comments on how waste services can better serve the community.
Can’t attend in person? You can share your thoughts and feedback below. Information will also be available following the Public Meeting on this webpage.
