This Comprehensive Plan Update will build upon the existing Water and Wastewater Master Plan (March 2017), and will consider all lands designated for development, plus an allowance to accommodate intensification within the existing development limits as established by the Town, York Region and the Provincial Growth Plan.
The Comprehensive plan will also identify preferred solution(s) that will be determined based on engineering requirements, environmental considerations (natural, social, economic), public input and information gathered during the study, all in accordance with the Environmental Assessment Act and the Master Plan Class Environmental Assessment.
