Mushrooms are sprouting in the shop. This is a sneak peek at the humungous fungi being created for the park’s Natural Discovery Playscape. This universally accessible playground will provide opportunities for mucking about with water and sand, along with a climbable log structure with mega-mushrooms poking up through it. While creating all sorts of possibilities for active play, the playscape will prompt park visitors of all ages to reflect on natural cycles of growth, decay, and renewal. 📷 Photo credit: Earthscape
