2025/2026 Road Resurfacing Projects

The Town of Newmarket will be undertaking multiple road resurfacing projects in 2025 and 2026. These projects will include grinding and resurfacing of the roadway, line painting, catch basin repairs, curb and sidewalk repairs and accessibility improvements.

For 2025 the Town is conducting Road Resurfacing on the following roads:

Clearmeadow Blvd from Yonge to Bathurst (July to September)

Savage Road from Yonge to Yonge (July to September)

Gorham Street from Leslie to Harry Walker Parkway (August to October)

Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer months, with traffic access to homes and businesses maintained throughout the duration of the work. Advance notice will be provided to residents regarding timelines and any potential disruptions to driveway access.

Clearmeadow Boulevard - July 2025 to September 2025

Newmarket will be undertaking a road resurfacing project on Clearmeadow Boulevard, from Bathurst Street to Yonge Street. This resurfacing project aims to improve the condition of the road and sidewalk and enhance community safety.

The project includes the removal and replacement of existing asphalt, and minor repairs to the curb, sidewalk and other infrastructure within the road allowance on Clearmeadow Boulevard.

Project Update - Clearmeadow Boulevard (Week of July 28th, 2025)

Road grinding has been completed.
Manhole adjustments have been completed.
Base asphalt repairs are scheduled for this week.
Road resurfacing is anticipated to begin later this week (week of July 28) or early next week (week of August 4), weather permitting.
